Mission

Azzurra is a 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2007 to advance the cause of human dignity and personal expression, through the exchange of culture between Italy and Southern California.

Azzurra’s founding board members have diversified backgrounds ranging from higher education instruction, academic leadership, law, business management, music and art. Guided by its distinguished board, the organization aims to highlight and showcase the influence of Italian culture and its artistic achievements by hosting events such as film festivals, photography and fine art exhibits, dinners, and lectures.

The organization seeks opportunities to share the accomplishments of prominent as well as younger people, and to serve as an agent in bringing diverse talents together, and fostering relations with a variety of cultural institutions.
